1. Acceptance
By accessing or using AltAround ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AltAround is a community-curated directory of places (restaurants, cafes, bars, and similar venues) that offer dietary alternatives such as dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. The Service allows users to discover, add, review, and organize places and related information.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. User Content and Conduct
You may submit reviews, place data, lists, and other content ("User Content"). You must not post illegal, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. By submitting User Content, you grant Maximized Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and sublicense that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
AltAround, its branding, and materials (other than User Content) are owned by Maximized Studio or its licensors. You may not copy or use them without permission. User Content remains yours subject to the license above.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listings or user-generated content. Use the Service at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maximized Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maximized Studio and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your User Content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability limits and indemnification) will survive.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of The Hague, the Netherlands.
